Integrated Movement

I bring together the precision of Pilates and the progressive challenge of strength training, with your goals setting the direction. Whether you're building a foundation or looking for your next challenge, I start with how you move and what you want to become more capable of doing. You can focus on either approach or benefit from both. The program is built around you.

VIRTUAL TRAINING

Live, individual coaching from wherever you train. I’ll build each session around your goals, experience, available equipment, and space so virtual training feels just as focused and personal as working together in person.

  • • Strength training, mat Pilates, mobility, and core work
    • Real-time coaching, feedback, and technique support
    • Programming adapted to your space and equipment

STRENGTH TRAINING

Progressive resistance training built around your goals. I help you build muscle, develop strength, and feel more confident with weights, with attention to technique and how you move.

The Hybrid Philosophy

PILATES + STRENGTH.
WORKING TOGETHER.

I believe that the ideal long-term approach to movement is hybrid training. Pilates and strength training are not opposing methods; they are complementary systems that build different but essential qualities of a resilient body.

Not every session is a 50/50 split. Your training might lean into the precision of the Reformer one day and the power of progressive resistance the next. We shift the dial based on your goals, your recovery, and how you show up that day, building a cohesive structure that works for you in the long term.

You choose where we begin. I build from there.

Andre Rivera Fitness

Pilates • Strength • Movement

I’m Andre, a Pilates instructor and Personal trainer with a background in dance and more than 10 years of coaching experience. I began strength training in high school, deepening that practice while earning two BFAs in dance at UC Irvine. During college, I discovered Pilates while navigating a back injury. Both disciplines helped me rebuild strength and confidence—and inspired me to help others feel more capable in their own bodies. Today, Pilates and strength remain equally important to my own training and the way I coach.

My years at Equinox, where I was recognized among the company’s top-performing Pilates instructors for four consecutive years, helped shape the coach I am today. I’ve spent the past six years building my independent practice in New York City, working with clients across backgrounds and experience levels.

My goal is personal: help you build strength, mobility, and confidence that carry into everyday life. I’ll meet you where you are, explain what we’re doing and why, and build from there.

Client Perspectives

“He knew exactly how to push a little bit farther each session to build my confidence and he also knew when I needed a bit of a restorative touch.”

- Deby

“Andre meets me with great humor, compassion, and holds space for strength I forgot I had.”

- Arti

“He makes Pilates accessible and customizes it to the person in front of him, which is perfect for new clients, but also has the experience to program more complex movements for advanced clients.”

- Rachel

“I’ve been taking privates with Andre for over 8 years, both in person and virtually. I call the sessions ‘teacher training’ because every movement becomes a part of life for me; from squats to plies, from planks to swans, and from 100’s to crunches.”

- Victoria
